Brett's Courses was established in 2008 by Tom Brett DO.  BSc(Hons).  LL.M.

The manipulation courses are based on participants having adequate knowledge of anatomical detail.  For that reason a comprehensive Protocol is part of the pre-study curriculum, which needs to be mastered prior to attending the courses.  The diagnostic techniques and many of the applications have been derived from orthopaedic and traditional bonesetter sources.

The podiatry manipulation course has been pilot tested on qualified podiatrists over an eighteen month period and has been validated by Unified Bonesetters Ltd.  It is a qualifying course and insurance is available through Giles Insurance Brokers (previously Shephards).  The podiatry course is now completed for manipulation skills from the foot to the knee.  This course forms Part 1 of six part series to cover the whole body.

Aspiring podiatrists can study the remaining five parts, which cover the rest of the body.

Tom Brett holds a diploma in osteopathy, a bachelor of science degree in podiatry and a masters degree in medical law.  He has over twenty eight years of clinical practice in manipulation and ten years clinical practice as a qualified podiatrist.  He is also a member of the Royal Society of Medicine.

Other courses include:

  • Medical negligence
  • Risk management
  • The law of consent
  • Expert witness issues
  • Tai Chi Chuan
  • Wing Chung Kung Fu

Tom's practices are in Carlisle and Holcot near Northampton. He uses the titles Master Bonesetter and Podiatrist.
